The Crown GMT-6-6 consists of two directly connected steam tilting kettles, each with a 6-gallon (23-liter) capacity. The double-wall kettle interior forms a steam jacket around the lower two-thirds of the kettle, ensuring optimal heat circulation. The hemispherical bottom design enhances heat transfer, while the 316 stainless steel liner is perfect for high-acid content cooking. Each kettle is mounted on a cabinet base with a full perimeter angle frame, featuring a reinforced counter, hot and cold water faucet with control valves, 3” (76 mm) deep sinks with drains, and splash guard grates for easy maintenance. The unit also includes gas boiler controls, hinged doors with magnetic catches, and removable side panels. The 6” (152 mm) stainless steel legs are fitted with 4 adjustable flanged feet for secure floor mounting. The stainless steel mounting legs house the steam supply and condensate, with the right leg equipped with a steam control valve. Both kettles feature a tilt handle with a heat-proof knob, allowing tilting past 90° for complete emptying. Steam manifolds concealed within the cabinet are fitted with a steam trap and safety relief valve. Water treatment system, electronic ignition, CSD-1 boiler controls, automatic blow-down, and split water line come standard for superior safety and performance.
